We have a fantastic leadership opportunity within our Asset team for a Head of Facilities Management. This is a full time Executive position based at our London office in Stratford and Shenfield.
The Role
As the Head of Facilities Management, you will be part of the Asset Management Senior Team in ensuring the effective day to day management of world class, customer focused, facilities management services to 134 stations via a combination of your inhouse team and outsourced service providers.
The focus is on facilities management and service delivery ensuring that we meet the high standards required by our client and our customers. This interesting and broad ranging role requires someone to implement and maintain the facilities management strategy for the Greater Anglia portfolio so that reliable, cost effective and sustainable hard and soft services are provided in accordance with industry best practice, franchise and regulatory obligations. You will proactively maintain a good understanding of industry best practice and trends, searching out environmental improvements with the aim of introducing and applying these to the benefit of the estate.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a colleague who can demonstrate high levels of Facilities Management experience and commercial awareness. You will show commitment and flexibility, demonstrate excellent leadership skills and be a good team player. You will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills, picking up new issues quickly and confidently analysing issues to find workable solutions. You will need to be able to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and promote partnership working with outsourced commercial service providers. You will be a visible leader, with high levels of personal resilience, able to deliver in a challenging, fast-paced environment where delivery and business continuity are prioritised.
