We have an exciting opportunity within our Train Presentation team for a Presentation Team leader based at Colchester. This is a fxed term contract expected to last 12 months.

The Role

You will be part of a large, dynamic team, delivering high levels of cleanliness to our rail vehicles through the daily management of a team of front-line operatives. You will be responsible for providing clean, safe and presentable trains through the direct management of Train Presentation team at Colchester.

You will ensure a high standard of train cleanliness is achieved on all interior and exterior train units operated by AEA through the daily monitoring of work in progress, finished work and assessing the competency of presentation staff to required standard.

You will also be responsible for the delivery of company objectives with regards to safety, performance, reputation, customer service and costs. In addition, your duties will involve ensuring that there is a high standard of cleaning on all interior and exterior trains, and attending to minor faults i.e. loose seating and graffiti.
The Train Presentation Department operates 24 hours a day so full flexibility will be required for the undertaking of early, late and night shift.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a colleague who has previous experience within a Team Leader role and/or managing a team. You will be competent in using Microsoft Office Suite Application knowledge (Word, Excel) and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
The successful colleague will have the ability to deliver under pressure and be adaptable to changing priorities.
Experience of train cleaning processes is desirable, as well as knowledge of IOSH managing safely.
