Senior Contract Manager

We have a fantastic new leadership opportunity for a Senior Contract Manager. This is a senior manager position based at Shenfield. The role involves both a combination of office working when required by the business and also the flexibility to work remotely from home. This is subject to workload and business needs/commitments.

The Role

Greater Anglia are currently implementing the largest train fleet renewal in the history of the region. The role of the Senior Contract Manager is key to the success of the fleet cascade.

You will be responsible for the management of the fleet leases as well as the train maintenance contracts. The Senior Contract Manager will also be responsible for ensuring that legacy fleet lease extensions and off-leasing are managed on time and on budget. In addition, you will conduct negotiations where the leases or maintenance contracts require variation.

The successful colleague will manage a small team that expedite the contractual mechanisms including liquidated damages, performance and customer service regimes. You will also manage the contractual deliverables to other industry train operating companies using GA facilities.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a colleague who has a degree qualification and/or extensive experience in the management of multi-million-pound contracts. Contract management knowledge and commercial experience in rail will be beneficial.
