An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Engineering team for a Safety & Services Manager. The role will be based at Ilford Depot; however, the role also encompasses Clacton Depot.

The Role

As a Train Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team to provide assurance to the Fleet HQ function that the maintenance activities including portable plant and work equipment are safe and compliant, taking into consideration legislative requirements and customer expectations, in accordance with the management system.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a colleague who holds NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health, or equivalent, and an Environmental Management qualification, with practical QHSE management experience including waste management. This will preferably be within an Engineering or similar industrial environment. Additionally, experience in utility management or an engineering qualification is desirable.
