Depot Manager

We have an exciting opportunity at Norwich Crown Point Depot for a Depot Manager to join on a permanent basis.

Role and Accountability

In this role you will provide leadership and direction for Norwich Crown Point Depot and line of route teams as required within the business, ensuring sufficient labour capacity and capability exists to meet both safety and compliance obligations, whilst delivering key operational indicators.

As a direct report to the Head of Production, you will be focused on delivering a complete fleet management model for Greater Anglia also enhancing the customer experience in line with the company’s vision and values. You will lead and develop the strategy to support engineering production management to ensure an optimal cost-efficient plan in line with any franchise requirements and company’s financial model.

You will develop the depot to maintain legacy fleet performance whilst introducing a new fleet of trains for the route, whilst also focusing on unit hand back and dilapidations.  You will interface with Stadler and other support functions as required.

Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications Required

Candidates must have at least 10 years senior management experience within a railway environment, and must be an Engineer by trade or education. Candidates must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
