Document Controller

We have an exciting opportunity for a Document Controller to join the team at Stratford on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract.

Role and Accountability

This role will focus on developing and delivering document control processes and procedures to provide the Asset Management Team with a robust document control function. You will provide regular formal, and informal, reports to Senior Managers on document control performance, as well as developing and ensuring the delivery of the document control system, to budget and to other agreed success criteria within Abellio guidelines including the Investment Competence Framework. You will work with the Asset Management Team to ensure the efficient usage of the document control system and processes and identify and implement quality and efficiency improvement initiatives. You will lead and inspire the team to maintain full engagement in meeting business objectives, whilst managing and complying with company procedures to provide appropriate resources, communication strategies, training, competency and evaluate fitness of staff to safely deliver their accountabilities.

Experience, knowledge and Qualifications Required

You will have a proven track record in a Document Control role or similar function. You must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong ICT skills. A Railway background or past experience is desirable.
