On Board Catering Experience Manager

We have an excellent opportunity within the Mainline Catering team to deliver fantastic customer service, and motivational leadership to catering colleagues.

As part of a newly awarded long term franchise, Greater Anglia will be investing £1.4bn in new trains, staff facilities and colleague development and in the process transforming the customer journey experience for millions of our customers on a daily basis. We are recruiting a On Board Catering Experience Manager, capable of leading this change.

Main Duties:

You will undertake line management duties for a team of On-Board Staff and will be expected to manage all aspects including Performance and Attendance Management. We want our Managers to be able to provide support to the onboard team ensuring that our customers receive outstanding customer service.  The role will support the Business Manager and Catering Compliance Manager to ensure that the on-board operations are handled efficiently and in line with all food hygiene and Health and Safety requirements.

What we are looking for:

You will need to be a strong motivator who is able to train and lead the catering department with particular focus to the on-board customer experience. This role will work a rotating roster between early and late shifts which will include weekends and bank holidays – the successful applicant will also join the First Line On-Call for Customer Service on a rotational basis.
