We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Rail Replacement Manager supporting our train service delivery team in overseeing the delivery of the contract for all planned and emergency rail replacement activities.
Main Duties:
You will work closely with 3rd party providers, Train Planning and Control colleagues as well as Customer Service teams across the Greater Anglia network to deliver the best possible rail replacement products for customers during both planned engineering work and major disruption.
You will be responsible for delivering all aspects of planned rail replacement for Greater Anglia and will work closely with Abellio Rail Replacement and other suppliers, to deliver the best possible product for customers using the rail replacement service.
Be responsible that all customer matters affecting rail replacement remain up to date including websites, station posters, etc. You shall also work to deliver improvements to all rail replacement by working closely with customer service colleagues within Greater Anglia.
Another aspect of your role will be to review with the GA Asset Management team any changes at station affecting the provision of rail replacement, and measure and report all KPIs associated with Planned Rail Replacement.
You will Review ARR Cost Management, and work closely with ARR (or other supplier) to ensure the full delivery of the contract in place.
What we are looking for:
You need to be experienced in delivering value for money through effective contract management and the deployment of innovation solutions.
You will have at least 2 years Railway Industry Experience, and have a proven track record of innovation, improvements, the ability to work with external suppliers and good experience of contract management.
Good standard of general education, pay attention to detail and be well organised with the ability to priorities workloads.
