Be part of something rewarding, by joining Greater Anglia you’ll be helping our customers get from A to B. With a staff of over 2,500, we operate a busy commuter service from London Liverpool Street to destinations across the east of England.

Our Engineering team is undergoing an exciting transformation; with £1.4bn investment in new trains, new station facilities and the backing of a long term franchise that will transform customer journeys throughout East Anglia.

We have an excellent opportunity in our business for a Project Manager on a 2 year fixed term contract.

You will be responsible for the delivery of committed obligations set by the Department for Transport. These will be primarily focused around the delivery of improvement upgrades and projects to our legacy train fleet. You will be expected to work with a variety of stakeholders both across the business and externally, and will be expected to travel to various locations across the network according to the location of the projects. You will be accountable for end to end delivery of the project including budget, timescales, reporting and management of risks and issues.

You will have demonstrable experience in project management, with PRINCE2, APMP or equivalent preferred.  You will have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, and be proactive and decisive in decision making. You will have good communication skills and be comfortable working with people from all disciplines. You will have good commercial and financial awareness and will be competent with budgets, MS Excel and project management software.

·        Proactive … be progressive, innovative and decisive

·        Inclusive … be connected in your thinking, empathetic and promote diversity
