Be part of something rewarding, by joining Abellio Greater Anglia you’ll be helping our customers get from A to B. With a staff of over 2,500, we operate a busy commuter service from London Liverpool Street to destinations across the east of England.

We have an excellent opportunity to join the customer service team in Stratford as a platform host providing train dispatch, customer service, cleaning, and assistance at this busy interchange location.

You will be meeting and greeting customers and answering their enquiries, so you will need to be customer service focused, friendly and approachable with the ability to work within a team and be pro-active. 

  • Provide an excellent level of customer service and maintain a professional manner at all times.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and cleanliness and wear all uniform provided as intended.
  • Safe and timely dispatch of services to and from your station.
  • Participate in personal train dispatch competency assessment and maintain certified competency.
  • Maintaining a customer facing presence on the station as required.

This role will also include, complying with safety regulations, reporting faults and hazards, and liaising with other areas of the business when required.

You will have a high level of professionalism, positive attitude, and be pro-active, friendly, and open when dealing with our customers. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are crucial to this role. You will remain calm under pressure, show integrity, and be flexible and adaptable to change.
