About the Role:
Join our team to help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness across all GA train units, both interior and exterior. You'll be responsible for ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for passengers. Additionally, you'll assess and support the daily competency of our train cleaning staff to uphold our quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and operate cleaning tools and equipment safely, ensuring compliance with standards and procedures, including handling hazards and spillages.
- Provide team management through supervision, training scheduling, and conducting quality checks,. Managing performance and absence management in line with company procedures.
- Follow safety protocols, report defects, hazards, accidents, and ensure all documentation is accurate and properly processed.
- Execute cleaning programs, assist with winterization, support during service disruptions, and manage lost property and suspicious packages.
- Adhere to company and railway safety standards, including wearing appropriate uniform and personal protective equipment, managing safety legislation, and supporting investigations.
- Perform additional duties such as assisting in training, supporting various locations, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety across all sites.
- Maintain computer-based systems, close work orders, report work completed.
- Monitor service quality regime fails, rectify and close relevant work orders within the defined timescales.
