We have an exciting opportunity within our Engineering Department at Romford ROC for a Duty Fleet Control Manager
The Role
As the Duty Fleet Control Manager you will be managing high performance and work outputs through the use of specified objectives, goal setting, appraisals, feedback, and appropriate improvement activities. You will be responsible for monitoring the performance of direct reports in order to attain high levels of performance and productivity
In this role, you will be responsible for providing guidance and line management to our ROC's Fleet Control Team. Duties will also include being responsible for reducing Delay Minutes, Cancellations, Shortform Deviations from Target Fix Time, and Cut-and-Run, as well as enhancing DST utilisation.
In addition you will be in charge of monitoring service disruption recovery, ensuring all information is accessible post-incident, and ensuring maintenance activities and modification programmes for all trains are planned and delivered in accordance with agreed-upon plans.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a confident colleague who has experience in managing colleagues at a senior level and/or engineering or management qualification. The successful candidate should be strategic and have a working knowledge and competency within a control centre environment with ability to influence internal/external stakeholders.
