We have an exciting new opportunity for a Customer Service Host to join our team at Harlow Mill Station. This is a part time position working 22.5 hours a week over 5 days. This position will require you to work the morning peak Monday to Friday.

The Role

The purpose of this role is to deliver excellent customer service and seek opportunities to enhance customer experience at our station. Creating a welcoming environment whilst providing pro-active assistance to our customers is important in this role.

Duties will include ensuring that public information notices, posters, leaflets and special displays are in date and presentable.  You will be responsible for assisting with the replacement/updating of information as required. You will also be responsible for supporting the maintenance of the Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) when required.

In addition, the role will include assisting customers with their travel needs and helping mobility impaired customers have a smooth journey. During disruption, this colleague will be required to provide support and assistance to our customers.

As part of this role, the post holder will be required to comply with safety regulations, reporting faults, hazards, and collaborating with other areas of the business when required.

This role involves station cleaning in order to uphold the appearance of our station.

Full uniform will be provided, to ensure that you embrace our values and brand as a business.

We are looking for a colleague who has a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude. The ideal candidate should be pro-active and friendly when dealing with our customers.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are crucial for this role. This role will require you to remain calm under pressure whilst maintaining integrity at all times. You must be flexible (in your working hours).
