We have an exciting opportunity for a Welcome Host to join our team at Tottenham Hale Station

The Role

The purpose of this role is to provide a safe environment whilst delivering excellent customer service and seeking opportunities to enhance customer experience at our station.

Creating a welcoming environment whilst providing pro-active assistance to our customers on and off trains is important in this role.

Your responsibilities include all matters regarding to safety, security, cash regulations and maintenance of the ticket machines. You will responsible for carrying out winter precautions as per station arrangements. Responsible for maintaining security.

This role also involves station cleaning in order to uphold the appearance of our station and security checks as part of the station security plans (SSP) (dependent on the station there are varying levels of security checks – from every 30 minutes to twice a day- looking for left items, waste bins being secure and doors being shut and / or locked etc)

Full uniform will be provided, to ensure that you embrace our values and brand as a business.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a colleague who has a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude. The ideal candidate should be pro-active and friendly when dealing with our customers.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are crucial for this role. This role will require you to remain calm under pressure whilst maintaining integrity at all times. You must be flexible (in your working hours).
