We have a fantastic opportunity for a Document Controller/Administration Supporter, to join our Asset Management Team. This position is a part time (job share) fixed term contract until September 2021 and will be based at our Stratford office as well as working from home.

The Role

Every day is different in the world of Asset Management, so whilst this role will bring its challenges, it will also provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to make their mark by helping to improve the way projects are controlled. Asset Management is an ISO Accredited function with outstanding processes that have formed part of our DNA.

This position is a job share working part time from 09:00-17:00 on Thursday and Friday. You will be responsible for undertaking all aspects of document control management such as uploading files to a central database, maintenance of a high number of documentations, and process trackers which form part of our data analysis and governance reports. In addition, there are responsibilities for providing administration support which include minute taking, raising purchase orders, dealing with invoice queries, and preparing PowerPoint presentations for the department.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will:

(Essential)

  • Have experience and/or solid understanding of document control within a regulated industry
  • Have exceptional organisational skills with a good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Have the ability to communicate with a wide range of people at all levels
  • Have the ability to work on own initiative and t challenge when necessary
  • Have a good understanding of Project Documentation Requirements
  • Be advanced in Excel & PowerPoint

(Desirable)

Previous experience of working within a rail environment
Knowledge of safety regulations (particularly CDM)
