An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen within Greater Anglia as an Event Delivery Team Supervisor for our West Anglia route.  This is a fixed term contract until 13th August 2021.

The Role

The role will report into our Event Delivery Manager and will be part of the team responsible for delivering crowd control, predominantly at Northumberland Park but also assisting event crowd management across the West Anglia route.

The role will support the Event Delivery Manager on all match days as well as deputising when the Event Delivery Manager is not available. The successful candidate will be responsible for both the team and personally the safe & efficient delivery of crowd control pre and post events, proactive announcements to keep customers informed, managing crowds to minimise the train performance impact whilst getting people home as safely and quickly as possible, providing excellent care to all our customers including those with accessibility needs

What we are looking for

With events taking place throughout the week, the suitable candidate will need to be flexible in their approach to both working hours and the tasks they will be responsible for. The nature of events requires regular working at both evenings and weekends as there are anticipated to be 20+ events a year at Drumsheds, and 60 events on the lower Lea Valley. In addition to this, outside of event days, working on a shift basis may also be required.
