We have an exciting opportunity for a Platform Communications Supervisor to join our team at Cambridge Station. This is a full time position, working 35 hours a week. Including Weekends, Bank Holidays and overnight shifts.

The purpose of the role is to provide a safe environment whilst delivering excellent customer service at all times and seeking opportunities to enhance the customer service experience at the station. You will ensure that customers are extended at the station, providing proactive assistance and information to customers on and off the trains and throughout the station.

You will be responsible for leading the station team in all matters regarding safety, security, safe and punctual dispatch of trains and work in accordance of the rule book and operational standards. Be responsible for maintaining security of the station premises at all times and carry out winter precautions as per station arrangements. This role will also include station cleaning and security checks as part of your daily duties.

You will have a high level of professionalism, positive attitude, and be proactive, friendly and open when dealing with our customers. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are crucial for this role. You will remain calm under pressure, show integrity and be flexible and adaptable to change.

This is a safety critical role and you will be responsible for the safe dispatch of trains. A medical will be required upon successful interview, Previous Rail Experience is essential.
