Travel and Fulfilment Clerk (6 Month FTC)

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Special Services Team in Colchester on a 6 month fixed term basis.

Role and Accountability

The role entails working in the Business Travel Team, issuing season and scholar rail tickets, ensuring that business customers (as directed by the Sales and Marketing Team) have their travel ticket requests fulfilled as appropriate. You will liaise with customers to ensure their ticket requirements are captured accurately and dealt with to a conclusion, ensuring an efficient and accurate billing process, in conjunction with the Accounts Receivable Team.

You will liaise with the Business Services Manager / Sales and Marketing Department over scheme changes, and deal with customer queries over ticket production, laid down pricing structures and billing queries (in conjunction with Accounts Receivable), using CRM systems and the Open Accounts system.

You will assist other members of the Specialist Services Team in their duties whilst maintaining an excellent level of customer service throughout the Team, including production, monitoring and administration of Season Direct, assisting the RCAC Team as required in balance checking duties, and completing ad hoc projects as requested by the Retail Accounting Manager.

Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications Required

The role requires a strong customer service focus and railway knowledge. Ticket Office experience or knowledge of the Greater Anglia rail network will be highly regarded. Candidates must have strong ICT and written and verbal communication skills.
