Production Control Assistant (FTC)

We are looking to recruit two Production Control Assistants to support Norwich Depot through the new fleet introduction and ensure we are always up to date and live on our asset management system. This will be a Fixed Term role until 31/12/2019.

Role and Accountability:

The role involves general office duties assisting the Service Delivery Manager (SDM) and Shift Production Manager (SPM) where necessary. This includes data input from our extensive train maintenance regime, monitoring time / attendance of our staff and various other duties.

To provide clerical support to the production department, in particular administration of all maintenance records. Administration of Workplace for the production department including annual leave and sickness monitoring. You will be responsible for collation, input and filing of all maintenance records and for the ordering of production office supplies and equipment.

Act as central point of contact for payroll and HR queries for staff and will be required to raise orders to cover any adhoc maintenance requirements i.e. UAT. Administration of MfA for Production Department and of Production Office and Yard notice boards will also be part of your role, as will be to compile materials inventory and tools/equipment for T&RS.

Experience, knowledge and Qualifications Required:

The ideal candidate will have a strong admin background and excellent office and interpersonal skills.

Must have extensive knowledge of manipulating data and graphs in excel and creating presentations suitable for delivering at director/executive level.
