Senior Production Manager

We have two excellent opportunities within the Engineering teams at Clacton Depot and Norwich Crown Point Depot, for a Senior Production Manager. (1 x Clacton and 1 x Norwich).

Role and Accountability:

As a direct report to the Depot Manager, you will deliver complete fleet management services for Greater Anglia Engineering in line with the company’s vision and values. You will lead and develop the Depot Production Management Team to ensure an optimal cost-efficient plan in line with any franchise requirements and company’s financial model. Promote and nurture corporate values and behaviors acting as a role model. The successful candidates will prepare and take part in Depot audits and briefs as directed.

You will be accountable for the delivery of maintenance activities on the relevant rolling stock and ensure they are conducted in accordance with prevailing statutory and industry requirements and overseen by the Engineering Compliance function.

Experience, knowledge and Qualifications Required:

The successful candidate will be an experienced production manager with a minimum of 3 years holding the post. Minimum of NVQ level 3 in an engineering discipline and/or an engineering apprenticeship. You will have experience managing teams of technicians and team leaders and delivering all aspects of direct people management. A positive, can do attitude is a must.

Experience managing a medium - large team, and in a production environment for delivery of a quality service. Engineering experience and knowledge to underpin decision making. Have the ability to look for performance opportunities to simplify and streamline the business.
