- 35 hours average per week (shift-based, including earlies, lates and weekends)
- You must be able to arrange your own transport for early/late shifts. Earliest shift is from 0500am, and latest shift finishes by 2215am.
- Candidates will be required to undergo the appropriate medical for the role
- Full training for the role to be provided and uniform provided, knowledge of ticket types would be beneficial.
- Salary starting £24,598, rising to £25,600 at 6 months, final salary £28,461 at 2 years

About the Role:
Join our dynamic team and experience an exciting, fast-paced role where no two days are the same! As part of your duties, you'll ensure trains are dispatched safely and on time, provide top-notch customer service to assist passengers, and carry out essential security checks. You'll also be a key player in helping both passengers and colleagues during service disruptions, all while keeping the station looking its best. You'll also have the opportunity to assist customers in purchasing their tickets - making every day varied and rewarding!
In this role, you'll assist with
- Guide customers on using ticket machines and new ticketing technologies, including smart cards and mobile apps.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the platform, catering to various travel needs, whilst managing customer flow within the station to ensure efficient service.
- Provide support to customers with mobility-impairments to ensure a smooth travel experience.
- Assist customers during disruptions and emergencies by offering guidance and support.
- Collaborate with Drivers and Conductors to maintain effective communication and service delivery.
- Adhere to safety regulations by reporting faults and hazards, and liaising with relevant departments when necessary.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the station, including light cleaning and poster upkeep.
- Provide real-time travel information and assistance to passengers and dispatch trains in a safe and punctual manner
